Yoga Postures, Exercise & Breathing Techniques

Yoga is a group of physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines which originated in ancient India. The term “yoga” in the Western world often denotes a modern form of Hatha yoga, yoga as exercise, consisting largely of the postures called asanas.

Yoga postures were originally designed to support the ancient sages (rishi’s) to sit longer in meditation and to assist in moving the prana or energy/ life force.
